In April 2019, the Supreme Court of Appeal (SCA) found that private estates in South Africa are entitled to establish and enforce their own traffic rules. Openitem’s Dashboard functionality allows Estate Management to quickly and effectively enforce these Rules, specifically speeding.

Converting the captured data which includes vehicle registration nr, a video and photo of the transgressor, into intelligence allows management to automate this process. The system corrects errors and classifies captured data accordingly. It then filters day to day data and converts this into evidence to enforce the traffic regulations.
