Trackers communicate with the Wytrack web dashboard and mobile application, providing live vehicle locations, historical journey playback, geofence monitoring and configurable alerts. Whether monitoring delivery vehicles, contractor fleets, maintenance teams or valuable mobile assets, Wytrack delivers one central platform for tracking movement across estate environments.

Live mapping, ninety days of route history, planned-versus-actual journey comparison and off-route notifications provide valuable operational insight. Residents can receive automatic courtesy notifications as approved delivery vehicles approach their homes, while security teams monitor activity, investigate incidents and generate detailed operational reports.

Tracking that fits every operation

Different operational environments require different tracking solutions. Delivery vehicles, contractor fleets, maintenance teams, golf carts, generators, trailers and valuable mobile equipment all present unique monitoring requirements. Wytrack offers a range of magnetic and portable tracking devices designed to support these different deployment scenarios.

Select the most appropriate tracker together with the preferred reporting mode to balance location update frequency, battery endurance and operational visibility. Intelligent, Timing and Power Saving modes allow organisations to optimise reporting according to delivery schedules, operational activity and asset usage. Combined with 4G LTE connectivity, stored location fixes and configurable notifications, Wytrack delivers reliable visibility across modern estate and fleet operations.

A dedicated Wytrack dashboard

The web dashboard and mobile app bring asset location and movement information into one tracking service. Owners can follow current activity, review previous journeys and monitor configured boundaries from an office or while away from the site.

The Wytrack dashboard — live map, journeys and alerts
  • Live asset locations on a map
  • Movement history covering ninety days
  • Routes, recorded speeds and stopping times
  • Geofence entry and exit notifications
  • Device alerts according to tracker model
  • Exportable movement reports
  • Web dashboard and mobile app access

This view helps answer practical questions: Where is the vehicle now? When did the trailer leave? How long did the asset stop? Which boundary was crossed? Movement records provide a starting point for investigation and response.

Key features

Live asset location

Live asset location

Wytrack displays tracked vehicles on a live map through its web dashboard and mobile app. Positions refresh approximately every ten seconds while vehicles are moving. Satellite positioning and cellular location services provide estates and control rooms with real-time visibility, helping security teams monitor vehicle movements and respond quickly when operational attention is required.

Ninety-day route playback

Ninety-day route playback

Wytrack stores ninety days of movement history, allowing estates to replay journeys, review stops, dwell times and recorded speeds. Compare planned routes with actual travelled routes, investigate deviations and generate exportable reports that support operational reviews, delivery investigations and security incident analysis.

Geofence notifications

Geofence notifications

Create geographical boundaries around estates, delivery zones, loading areas or operating sites and receive push or SMS notifications whenever tracked vehicles enter, leave or travel off route. Geofence and route-deviation alerts help security teams identify unexpected movement quickly and respond with greater operational awareness.

Movement and tamper alerts

Movement and tamper alerts

Selected trackers detect vibration, movement, removal, opening, abnormal noise, low battery and geofence events. Detection capabilities vary by tracker model, allowing estates to select the most appropriate device for different operational requirements while improving asset visibility and supporting timely security responses.

Openitem-integrated tracking service

Openitem-integrated tracking service

Wytrack operates as a dedicated tracking platform without requiring additional Openitem modules. Estates can monitor individual vehicles or entire delivery fleets through a single web dashboard and mobile application, providing real-time location, movement history, alerts and reporting within one secure tracking environment.

Multi-delivery route planning

Multi-delivery route planning

Wytrack enables operators to create and distribute multi-stop delivery routes directly to drivers before arrival at an estate. Security teams can monitor planned versus actual travel, identify route deviations, improve delivery efficiency and maintain greater visibility of vehicle movements throughout the entire delivery journey.

Configurable battery modes

Configurable battery modes

Timing, Intelligent and Power Saving modes allow estates to balance reporting frequency with battery endurance. Reporting intervals can be configured according to delivery schedules, operational requirements and movement patterns, helping maximise battery life while maintaining the visibility needed for effective vehicle monitoring.

Cellular reporting and stored fixes

Cellular reporting and stored fixes

Trackers communicate using integrated 4G LTE connectivity and automatically store location fixes whenever mobile coverage becomes unavailable. Stored positions are uploaded once connectivity returns, preserving complete journey history. The long-life magnetic tracker also supports 2G fallback where available for improved reporting reliability.

Doorbell courtesy notification

Doorbell courtesy notification

Wytrack can automatically notify residents when a tracked delivery vehicle enters a predefined proximity around their property. Courtesy notifications improve communication, reduce uncertainty and provide residents with advance notice of approaching deliveries, creating a smoother and more convenient estate delivery experience.

Magnetic and portable hardware

Two trackers, one platform

Two trackers, one platform

Choose long-life magnetic trackers for temporary vehicle deployments or portable rechargeable units for flexible installations. Magnetic mounting eliminates permanent vehicle modifications, while multiple tracker sizes, battery capacities and environmental protection ratings allow estates to deploy the most suitable device for every operational requirement.

Tamper-proof by design

Spring-loaded tamper detection: attached, removed, alert sent

Wytrack combines a powerful neodymium magnetic mounting system with an intelligent spring-loaded tamper detection mechanism to protect valuable vehicles and mobile assets. When securely attached to a metal surface, the internal spring remains compressed while the tracker continuously reports its location through the tracking platform. If the device is removed or tampered with, the spring instantly releases, allowing the onboard electronics to detect the event and immediately transmit a tamper alert via the cellular network.

Combined with long battery life, rugged weatherproof construction and installation that requires no vehicle wiring, the system provides reliable asset protection, rapid incident notification and greater confidence that every tracked asset remains exactly where it should be.

Tracking delivery and contractor vehicles through an estate

Every estate knows the pattern: a courier announces one stand number at the gate, then works through four more. Escorting every delivery does not scale, cameras only see the roads they point at, and fining residents for their courier’s speeding has proved deeply unpopular. Wytrack gives the control room a different tool — a tracker that travels with the vehicle from the entry boom to the exit boom.

The portable units are small enough to hand across the counter, run for weeks between charges and raise a tamper alert if removed, which makes them practical gate loaners rather than permanent installations.

How it works at the gate

  1. Booked in advance — the delivery or contractor visit is created in Openitem with its destination stand and time window, through Visitor Access Advanced Booking or Gate Pass Management.
  2. Issued at the gate — the guard hands the driver a portable Wytrack unit and scans it against the visitor record in the Guard app. From that moment the visit, the vehicle and the tracker are one record.
  3. Mapped to the estate — the estate boundary, the permitted route to the destination, the destination stand, restricted zones and the estate speed limit are already drawn as geofences and rules; the unit inherits them the moment it is issued.
  4. Watched live — the control room sees the vehicle move across the estate map in near real time, and is alerted the moment it leaves the route, stops at a stand it was not booked for, exceeds the speed limit or has its unit tampered with.
  5. Returned at exit — the driver hands the unit back and the guard scans it out, closing the visit. A unit that leaves the estate raises an alarm and can be located by its own GPS; a visit that runs past its window raises one before that.
  6. Kept as evidence — every visit’s route, stops and speeds are replayable for 90 days and stay attached to the visitor record, so a complaint from a resident or a query from the courier company is settled from the log, and behaviour is attributed to the driver and their employer rather than to the resident who received the parcel.

Where an estate already runs Openitem, these alerts land in the same place as gate, panic and camera events, and the same Traffic Control & Speed Enforcement and Restricted-Zone Violation rules apply to a tracked courier as to a resident’s vehicle.

Which unit to use: the portable M and S are the natural gate loaners — light, weeks of battery, and a light-sensor tamper alert on the M — while the long-life magnetic unit stays on the estate’s own assets: golf carts, utility vehicles, generators and pumps.

Gate Pass Management

Digitise and automate visitor, vehicle, asset, and delivery movements with OpenItem Gate Pass…

Restricted-Zone Violation

Openitem assigns every visitor a verified profile on arrival, so entry into a restricted zone is flagged and handled automatically.

Flexible deployment options

  • Standalone deployment — begin with a dedicated Wytrack account and one or more supplied trackers. This model suits private owners, businesses and estates that need location monitoring without adopting another Openitem module. Select long-life or portable devices to match the assets being monitored.
  • Integrated Openitem deployment — for the estate workflow, portable trackers are associated with booked visits in the Guard app. Routes, restricted areas and time windows give the control room context for alerts. Confirm the required Openitem modules and configuration with Openitem.
  • Phased deployment — start with a representative group of assets and review reporting frequency, charging intervals and alert handling. Add units as the operating model becomes established. A mixed deployment can combine long-life trackers on stored equipment with portable units for vehicles and temporary gate loans.

A straightforward deployment journey

The five-step Wytrack deployment journey
  1. Choose trackers suited to the asset, mounting environment and charging interval.
  2. Openitem links each tracker to the visitor profile before delivery.
  3. Charge and attach the units using suitable magnetic mounting positions.
  4. Sign in to the web dashboard or mobile app and check live positions.
  5. Define geofences, notification recipients and the appropriate reporting mode.

For an estate deployment, also agree the booking, issue, monitoring and return process. The customer journey starts at one unit and can expand across a fleet; account preparation is supplied by Openitem.
